Greetings Miss Fisher Fans! 

Wow, it’s been one heck of a year. This past few weeks, memories have been popping up on our social feeds of this time last year, when many Adventuresses and other fans made journeys and pilgrimages both to Palm Springs, California, in early January, and also to Australia in late February 2020. All of this was to celebrate the release of Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears, a truly collaborative effort that offered fans an opportunity to help fund the movie we believed in so much. It was a magical time. In some ways it’s hard to believe it was only a year ago. What the memories reminded us is that we really need to do whatever we can to spend time together, even virtually. Over the next few months the Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas will be offering several virtual events and gatherings. We’d love to have you along for the ride!

2021 Miss Fisher Con Survey

We at the Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas understand and recognize that the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic isn’t as far along as anyone would like--though things are changing daily! We’re examining options for the 2021 Miss Fisher Con and want to hear from you.  Whether you’ve already registered for the 2021 Miss Fisher Con or not, we’d love to get your feedback on this survey. While we’re still on track for the 2021 Miss Fisher Con to be held in Richmond, Virginia, July 15-17, rules about public gatherings are up to the state and local governments, and are not predictable this many months out. 

We realize that this is when you need to start finalizing plans one way or another, and so we’re  offering the survey with a variety of options on what the 2021 Miss Fisher Con will ultimately look like--whether it’s fully in person, hybrid with some on-line content and some in person, moved to another month--we want your opinions! Respond by the end of March 14, 2021 to have your voice heard!

Miss Fisher March Madness

Everyone has a favorite Phryne outfit, and we’re no different! The ACotA Board has selected 16 of our favorites (and believe you me, it wasn’t easy). Now we want you to help us winnow them down to the best one! We’ve put the outfits in four categories - Daywear, Glamorous, Misdemeanors, and Boudoir - and the competition is fierce. We can’t wait to see what you think, and we’d love to hear what you might have chosen that we missed!
Everyone can vote! Starting March 1, we’ll post voting forms every couple of days on all of our social media channels - Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and Facebook - and we’ll announce the winner on our website on March 31. Be sure to tag us if you’re reposting - we want to hear about your favorites too!
ACotA members can watch the action unfold on a special members-only results page that we’ll open up for all to see after the final tally is in. Ms Fisher’s MODern Murder Mysteries Wraps Series 2 Filming

Peregrine, Birdie, Steed, and the rest of the Adventuresses have just finished filming Series/Season 2 of the groovy spinoff to Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. We don’t have confirmation yet on a release date, but it will definitely be coming to Acorn TV, and likely this year. Series 2 consists of 8 1-hour episodes instead of the 4 1½ -hour episodes of Series 1.
