Movie NewS

Acorn TV has been busy setting up theaters across the US where the movie will be shown! Showing dates begin March 13, 2020, and are currently scheduled into April - and our understanding is that more dates are still being negotiated! So keep an eye out on your local independent theater (many showings are at Alamo Drafthouse locations, but not all), and if you don't see a showing near you, reach out to request one!

Acorn TV will begin streaming the movie (both series are streaming now) on March 23 - it's not too late to sign up! And Acorn Online is already taking preorders for the DVD and Blu-Ray formats, to ship in early May.

PLEASE NOTE: Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears is not yet legally available on any streaming service anywhere. Full versions of the movie you may come across on the Internet are to be considered illegal, pirated copies, and are not to be distributed.

The chance of us being treated to more Miss Fisher adventures will decrease with every copy shared or downloaded. Anyone sharing a pirated version of the film to any of the Adventuresses' Club social media will be suspended from ACotA. Questions? Contact us

Our members learn everything first, so if you want a head start, join the Adventuresses' Club of the Americas today! And if you're not yet signed up for our newsletter, it's not too late - you'll hear from us about once a month, and we always try to have fandom information that you'll enjoy.

The Adventuresses' Club of the Americas is a 501(c)7 nonprofit social club committed to creating community around the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries TV shows, books, and upcoming movie. Our board is made up of volunteers who plan and execute the annual Miss Fisher Con fan convention.

Follow us on social media: FacebookTwitterInstagram, or Tumblr - we'd love to see you out in the wider world of fandom!

On our Facebook Events page, we post information about upcoming regional fan events. We’ve had a fan get-togethers in Denver, Portland, San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles, just to name a few. If you’d like to organize a meetup of your own, let us know and we’ll be happy to post it!

Are you in on the conversation? We’ve created a Slack chat just for members of the Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas! It’s a great way to get to know your fellow members before you get to con. You can use Slack on your computer or download the free app for your phone (or both – we won’t judge!). Become a member today!

And don't forget to check out our Redbubble store! All of the proceeds from our shop go to fund the con. Even a nonprofit organization has to pay for some things up front - your purchases help!
