UPDATE 7/15/2019: This event is SOLD OUT!
Have you ever been to a murder mystery party or solved the puzzle to defeat an escape room? This year, our Saturday event will be an interactive, team-based story event in which you get to solve a murder!
Participants can gather a group of friends or go solo; the event is set up to be done in small groups based on start times. You might want to set yours in anticipation of a dinner out on the town or a nightcap back in your hotel room - you decide what works for you! Miss Fisher Con attendees and their guests will be driven in groups between the con hotel to the event location. General Admission ticket holders will be able to find street parking in the area or use public transit.
The event company, League of 13 Entertainment, has tailored the story line for this event to something that Miss Fisher fans can relate to - an archaeological find in 1920s Egypt!
Photographed at Rosicrucian Park, San Jose, California | Cairo, 1925When a renowned archaeologist from Australia uncovers the tomb of an Egyptian noblewoman named Nimaethap near the Valley of the Kings, all eyes turn to Cairo for the mummy’s unveiling. But danger lurks in unexpected places - someone is murdered at the event and a spectacular jewel called the Black Scarab is stolen! The sleuths of The Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas have been called in to solve the mystery… and time is running out. From the creative teams of League of 13 Entertainment comes The Curse of the Black Scarab - an immersive, interactive murder mystery game that pits players against the clock (and each other) through mind-bending puzzles, clue-dropping characters, and clever conundrums that will let them prove that they are master detectives. With the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum of San Jose, CA, as its backdrop, The Curse of the Black Scarab will transport players to a time of exotic lands, ancient secrets, and nail-biting adventure! |
