Hello, fellow Phryne Fisher fans!

After some much needed downtime after this year’s successful in-person (!) con where we also had limited virtual attendance, we’ve been looking ahead and planning our next adventure!

Miss Fisher Con 2022 is on!

We are pleased to announce that the 2022 con will be held both in person and online from August 4 through 6, 2022. The in-person con will take place in Louisville, Kentucky, at the gorgeous, historic Seelbach Hilton hotel. We’ll share the link to our room block next month, but we’re pleased to let you know rooms begin at $149/night!
 
We’re thrilled to say that we’ve been able to keep the registration fees the same as they were in 2021. In person: $210 members/$250 non-members; online: $110 members/$150 non-members. Members will be able to register on our website beginning Monday, November 1, and we’ll open registration to non-members on January 1, 2022. (But you can still become a member and register early, if you want!) 

We’re delighted to welcome our 2022 con committee - Laura Matney, Jerry Veneziano, and Karen Phelps - who has leapt into action already. If you are in the Louisville area and would like to help, please let us know!

Fall in love with our Auction after only going once… going twice!

ACotA fundraises to offset the expenses of con and keep ticket prices as low as possible. This year, we’re planning to hold our 2nd ever online auction! All of the proceeds from this auction will go to funding the con - as you know, the Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas is a nonprofit, and all of the board and the con committee are unpaid volunteers. 

With that in mind, if you would like to donate something to the auction, please send us a message (include “auction” in the subject line) by November 30. Your message should include a description and a photo of your donation that we can use in the auction listing. Donations could include a piece of vintage or fan art, vintage clothing or jewelry, even an experience such as a weekend stay at the seaside. As long as it relates to the Fisherverse - the Phryne books, the Miss or Ms Fisher (or even Miss S!) TV series, or the Crypt of Tears movie - we’re interested!

Phryne knows that an auction is serious business! 

Is Phryne your artistic muse? 

Calling all artists who work in the medium of Phryne Fisher! This year we are planning a “30 Days of Phryne” social media event featuring your fan art. We plan to start our thirty days of posting on TV Phryne’s birthday, December 21, but since this will also include book Phryne’s special day, January 12, let your creative mind go! Your art can be any media you like - sketching, painting, digital 2-dimensional art, a photo collage, papercraft, fabric arts, or something we’ve not seen before. We want to celebrate all things Phryne and, of course, YOU!
 
If you want to help us fill the calendar, we ask that you email us two image sizes of your art - a square 1080 pixels x 1080 pixels and a landscape 1024 pixels x 512 pixels - by December 1. Please also include your personal social media handles so that we can tag you in our posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr. We can’t wait to see the many faces of Phryne Fisher!
