Harassment Policy
The Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas was founded with the same principles embodied by our beloved Phryne Fisher. We believe and hold true that all individuals in our community should be free to be their authentic selves; be seen for who they are; love who they love; and live according to their values, so long as those ideals do no harm and support those around us.
Miss Fisher Con has long been a safe space where folks are free to be true to themselves without fear of judgment or reprisal, and we're committed to keeping it that way. Miss Fisher Con has zero tolerance for discrimination and all forms of harassment.
Participants are expected to make a good-faith effort to uphold the following expectations, as outlined in our non-discrimination policy.
Non-discrimination Policy of The Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas
The Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas holds a zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of discriminatory or harassing conduct by or toward any participant of our community or events. Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to, disruption of presentations during sessions, discriminatory language by or about any protected classes**, and deliberate or repeated misgendering of fellow participants. All participants must comply with the instructions of any Miss Fisher Con Board Members. Failure to abide by this policy may result in the participant's badge being revoked and the participant being asked to leave the con.
**Protected classes include but are not limited to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and sexual orientation), gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and genetic information.
